Actually photovoltaic inverter conversion rate refers to the inverter will change into the efficiency of electricity from solar panels. In photovoltaic power generation systems, inverter plays a convert solar panel from the direct current into alternating current (ac), and the role of the ac transmission to the power grid,the more  the inverter  high conversion efficiency is, for more their own use and sale of electric power can be increased.

There are two main factors decide the
photovoltaic inverter conversion efficiency:

First, when change the DC into AC sine wave, need to use power semiconductor circuit for DC current is used as the switch handle, power semiconductor heating will lead to loss , but by improving the design of the switching circuit, can make the loss reduce to at lowest.

Second, with the inverter control experience to improve efficiency. Solar panel output current and voltage will change with the sunshine and temperature, and inverter shall make the best control on current and voltage, make its maximum electric power, which is to find the best power points in the shortest time, the higher the conversion efficiency will be. And this kind of control characteristics of the inverter has the difference according to different manufacturer's products, its conversion efficiency is also different.

For example, some PV inverter max power output conversion efficiency is quite high, the output of the lowest power output conversion efficiency is lower; some have average conversion efficiency since the power from the low to high. etc. So we should consider the match features when selecting a inverter solar panel.
